Equipped with an external heating element system, the 5100IS maximizes the amount of steam available, operating at a pressure of 3.5 bar / 50 P.S.I. for maximum ironing efficiency.
The included #2100IR steam iron with quick-connect functionality and variable steam control utilizes our exclusive 32-steam chamber design, eliminating condensation and providing dry, high-quality steam. The external solenoid valve allows the user to manually adjust the steam output for complete control.
Eco-Mode is a game-changing feature of the 5100IS, saving you up to 33% in energy costs by reducing consumption when the boiler is not in use. Simply turn the switch back on when ready to use, and in less than 2 minutes, you'll be ready to work, all while conserving energy.
The 5100IS is equipped with 4 safety systems, including a pressure switch, thermostat protection, a safety cap with a safety valve, and a low water indicator, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
Compared to the 4100IS model, the 5100IS offers a pressure gauge, enhanced steam options, and easy attachment for the 2100IR iron. The 4100IS is a simpler version, without a pressure gauge or steam variability, and is directly connected to the unit. The 4100IS indicates full readiness with a 'Steam Ready' indicator light, ensuring you know when it's at optimal performance level.
To empty the water, simply turn the boiler off, unplug it, and if under pressure, follow the instructions to remove the pressure safety cap and tip the unit upside down to drain it.
The Efficient Performance Mode on the 5100IS maintains a steady 2-bar (29 PSI) performance level, conserving energy. Activate this mode when ready, and it will quickly reach full performance. Note that this mode is not intended for dry ironing, but rather to maintain a steady state of readiness.
